MIND BODY THAI MASSAGE
Sucess Stories
Mind Body Thai Massages' greatest sucess story is that of my wonderful mother Kathi Arnold who is 75 years old.

My mother and I were driving to Salmo, BC from Calgary on December 23, 2006 when I slid on some black ice and rolled my 2000 Ford Explorer. I should have learned how to drive on ice by doing donuts as a teenager but I was a girl, not a boy. The vehicle rolled just once and luckily we ended upright in a nice ditch instead of the huge cliff on the other side of the road. I was fine but she was immediately in pain and suffered a crushed vertibre - the T12 in the middle of her back. She was put on 24 pain killers a day including oxycontin and moraphine based oxycodone among others. Over a year of still being in extreme pain we asked her pain doctors if she could get regular massages and yes, she could. At the same time in the spring of 2008 we went to see Acupunturist Mike Lang at
www.mikelang.ca and she received excellent treatment of her back pain by the use of acupressure application to certain spots in her ears - like reflexology of the foot. Her pain was immediately extinquished. I then began massaging my mother every week  and although she no longer needs treatment from Mike Lang we have her pain free by my weekly Thai massages. She walks faster and straighter and no longer needs a walker.

I am extremely happy to share this story of my mother as we feel NO one deserves to go through ANY pain and I am more than thrilled to contribute in the happiness my mother experiences each day.

Thank you Kathi for believing in me. I love you so much.

My mother passed away of cancer on July 30, 2009 and had a peaceful, beautiful death.

I am very happy to introduce one of my favorite clients, Daisy Walls who is 92 years old. When I met Daisy in August 08 she was fully bent over from an auto accident last year. I massage Daisy weekly as she thoroughly enjoys her treatments and each time I massage her she is perfectly straight when we are done. She stays this way for a few days as muscle memory kicks in and she is back to her original position. She feels so much better after her massages and I feel I contribute to healing her and enriching her life. She always gives such great advice! Thank you Daisy for being such a beautiful person and one I inspire to be like.
